What Is LiFi Technology?

What is LiFi technology?

LiFi is a wireless communication technology, uses light to transmit data between devices. LiFi stands for Light Fidelity. Harald Hass introduced the term in 2011.

LiFi is capable of transmitting data in visible light, ultraviolet and infrared spectrum. There are only LED lamps in the present state to transmit the data of visible light.

Is it similar to WiFi?

There are technical differences between WiFi and LiFi. Both of these are used to transmit data but WiFi uses radio frequencies and LiFi works on the light.

LiFi offers several advantages, the main is the bandwidth. We can transmit big data with speed.

Transfer files android phone pc using xender

Why LiFi in the job?

At the age of 5G, there are many challenges and it is key to solve. It can transmit multiple gigabytes, more reliable, more secure than radio technology.

It uses a direct modulation method much similar to low-cost infrared communication devices such as remote control.
