Chrome: Save Your Tab Groups And Safe Browsing For Kids

Stop tab overload: Powerful Tips to Save and Manage Your Browser Tabs.

Google Chrome has now come up with browser control for kids browsing. With this new update, you can stop overloading the tabs opened.

A few years ago, parents used to search for safe browsing experiences for kids. And they look for browser extensions and other third-party applications. Now the popular browser itself comes with such features.

Save your tab group

You can save and open tab groups across desktop devices when needed. This makes it easier to clean up your tab strip and focus on the thing you need to get done, right now.

  1. Right-click a Tab and select Add tab to group.
  2. Turn on Save group and your group will appear in the bookmarks bar.
  3. To remove the group from your tab strip but keep it for later, right-click the group header and select Hide.
  4. On a different desktop device, sign-in and see your groups in the bookmark bar.

Tip: In the tab strip, click the group header to collapse the group.

Help keep your child safer online

If you’re a parent and your child uses Chrome, you can use Family Link to set website restrictions and keep them safer online.

  1. Your child will need their own Google Account.
  2. Visit Family Link to manage the sites they can visit in Chrome.
  3. Help them sign in to their own Chrome profile so the choices you make will apply.
  4. If your child wants to visit a blocked site, they can ask you for permission. You’ll get a Family Link notification.

Translations when you need them

Get web pages automatically translated into your preferred language or languages.
