Logic 1: Help the man on the boat move Wolf, Sheep and Cabbage across the river. Each move attaches to only one animal or object, when the man is not nearby, the Wolf will eat the Sheep, and the Sheep will eat the Cabbage.

Solution: Here boat can carry two persons/objects at a time. Sailor is sailing and he will be their always, so boat can sail back without any person/object.

Step 1: Take the Sheep first and back.
Step 2: Pick Wolf and drop across the river. Sail back with the Sheep.
Step 3: Drop the Sheep and take the Cabbage.
Step 4: Back alone and take the Sheep.

Logic 2: Take a mother and 5 sons across the river. Knowing that the boat can carry up to 3 people, only the mother can sail. When the mother is absent, 1-year-old older or younger kids will fight the other.

Solution: Here boat can carry up to 3 people and one will be always on the boat with two kids at a time. Cannot leave kids who are 1-year-old older or younger. Means 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 9-10 will fight when the mother is absent.

So 6, 8 and 10 years old kids can be left. In the same we have to drop them across the river.

Let first shore is A and second is B.

Step 1: Take 7 and 9 first and drop 9 to the shore B. Mother back with 7.
Step 2: Drop 7 on shore A. Pick 6 and 8 to shore B, back with 9.
Step 3: Pick 10 to shore B.
Step 4: Now pick 7 and 9 from shore A to Shore B.

First shore = A

Step 1: Take two Cannibals to shore B, drop one and another back to shore A.
Step 2: Take last Cannibal to shore B and third go back to shore A and stays.
Step 3: Now two Missionaries to shore B, drop them. One Cannibal and one Missionary sail back to shore A.
Step 4: Drop Cannibal to shore A and pick one Missionary and sail (two missionaries are sailing now) to shore B.
Step 5: Drop two Missionaries, Cannibal go back to shore A.
Step 6: Now two Cannibals can sail first time and second time the last Cannibal.

Logic 5: Help a family of 5 people move across the river by boat, and the boat is capable of a maximum of 2 people carrying capacity. Time for travelling of each person in turn is 1 second, 3 seconds, 6 seconds, 8 seconds, and 12 seconds. If two people both go on the boat, the boat will travel at the speed of slower person. In 30 Seconds please bring the whole family across the river.

Solution: In this level we have to maintain the traveling time. 5 people will take time as mentioned above, 8 and 12 seconds are the highest time. We have to reduce it from our calculation.

If they both travel, the boat will travel at the speed of slower person (12 seconds), boat can back without any person. So one (8 seconds) have to back and carry another person. Here it takes 12+8=20 seconds, where we have only 30 seconds.

See the time for all people and add them 1+3+6+8+12=30. We have limited time to move all these five people.

First shore = A
Second shore = B

Step 1: Take 1 and 3 first to shore B 1 stays there and 3 go back to shore A.
Step 2: 3 stays, 12 and 8 go to shore B. Both 12 and 8 stay on shore B, 1 go back to shore A.
Step 3: 1 and 3 go to shore B, 3 stays and 1 back to shore A.
Step 4: Now 1 and 6 go to shore B.

Solution: Husbands would not allow their wives to go with another man and husband must present to another side. Ladies can travel together, men can travel together. Ladies/lady can’t be left with another man, unless husband present there.
