Well, copying or creating a file/folder is very easy. Then why does it says “File not found or no read permission” on compressing a folder, (creating ZIP folder)?
It is very frustrating when you have a large project and the final moment something hits like that. After two days of finding the solution here, I come with.
File not found or no read permission
It is not possible that the file is not there. At least in my case, I have a folder and another side a ZIP folder created. So the second probability is possible that the file may have restricted for some reason.
So, the solution is to find the restricted files inside the folder you are trying to compress. Some of the developer’s tools/apps have files that are only for developing purposes. So those are protected, you have to first exclude them and it will be done.
Solution
So, here what you should do or try. Look for any ZIP folder inside the main folder/project you are trying to compress.
Just open the main folder and use a simple search. Type *.ZIP in the search box and it will show you the list of any zipped folders inside it. Remove it if you do not need or extract it. And the problem is solved.
Just find the locked files and exclude them when compressing. A google search may help you to know the locked files.
